Human Rights Education
Human rights education requires human rights to be embedded in education and training. Therefore, the process of education and training and the environment in which learning takes place should embody the principles of human rights, promote a culture of respect for human rights, increase knowledge and understanding of human rights, and encourage action to defend them.
The IHRC promotes human rights education in all education and training settings including schools, community & voluntary organisations and the civil and public service.
